Over the past month three new ABC NewsRadio frequencies were launched in Western Australia as part of the ABC Trailer roadshow:
Broome 106.9FM
Karratha 104.1FM
Geraldton 101.3FM
ABC NewsRadio’s intrepid sports reporter Debbie Spillane had the task of launching the station in Broome, giving nearly 16,000 listeners access to Australia’s only continuous news station.
Over the course of the ABC NewsRadio new frequency rollout WA have received 10 ten frequencies, stretching from Albany to Broome, giving over 200,000 people access to the station.
