ABC NewsRadio Summer Schedule
From Monday 8 December there will be some changes to the ABC NewsRadio schedule. While the Breakfast team remains the same with host Glen Bartholomew, political editor Marius Benson and sports reporter Debbie Spillane, Anna Hipsley moves to host Mornings and John Barron presents Drive. Afternoons will again be a ‘tag team’ affair, with Shon Walker sharing presenting/producing with Ben McLean. In addition Kel Richards moves to Weekend afternoons to present five-minute national bulletins every half hour and provide a welcome local ‘voice’ amidst our international partners. There will also be a new mix of BBC material on air between 7 and 9pm, Monday to Friday, and a weekly half-hour series by Fiona Ellis-Jones focusing on African news and current affairs.
